Flexitive Widgets use Embedded pages, so one design references other designs and places them on their canvas. This allows for us to make these widgets responsive to resizing so it looks good no matter how or where you place it on the canvas. It is however important to keep this in mind when you clone your existing project and make changes to the Child Pages.

If you clone a project containing a Flexitive Widget, it does not make a clone of the child pages but instead uses the existing child pages in the new project. This means that if you make a change to the Child Pages in one project, it will affect all projects that are associated with the ChildĀ page.

If you would like to make edits to the widget of a cloned project without changing your other projects, it is recommended that you add a new widget to the canvas. Alternatively, you can create a new ChildĀ page manually, upload the child page into the assets panel as an embedded page, and then add the new page to the widget. For more information on how to do this, see our article on Embedded Pages.
